Twinkie is a 12 month QH/mix gelding . His mommy is at the rescue too ( Ginger). He is undergoing training right now and already can lead, load, clip, stand for farrier. Nugget is a Yearling (July 2012) TWH Paint. He has beautiful markings and a very gentle temperament. He is used to being handled every day. He leads well, stands still for farrier and vet and even loads without a problem. Nugget has learned to pick up his feet and is used to being sprayed with fly spay on a daily base. He will be a very large horse, the vet thinks at least 16 hands. His Mommy came with him to the rescue, please check out Socks. She is a 15.2 hands tall TWH. Clover is a very special horse. He was found running on the loose on a busy road, the owner never pick him back up from animal control. We believe he had a little bit experiance under the saddle, I have seen a young boy riding him bareback. He will need an experianced rider, but he has very nice manners, you can catch him anytime in the pasture and he was very good with the vet. Clover still needs a little bit of pacience when loading. He is very unusual, this horse has 4 ear's and our local MSU Vet school just did a study of him. We decited not to remove the extra ear's since they do not border him and it makes him just that much more ... (Read More)unique.He is 3 year's old and about 14 hands tall, still growing a bit. This beautiful little mare came to us very spooky and malnurished. She is still gaining weight and has a 8 month old foal on her side. We are weaning the little one. Ginger is 7 years old and we think broke to ride. She is only about 13 hands tall and would make a wonderful kids or young adult horse. She is easy to catch and has great ground manners. Blitz is a wonderful 2 1/2 year old gaited grade horse. He is very gentle and just wants to cuddle. He has an awesome temperament and is a fast learner. He will be no problem to train and works for food. Leads wonderful and loads in a trailer. Has made no problem with either the farrier or the vet and is easy to catch, just call him and he comes running...even faster with a food bucket. He is not broke to ride yet but could be started under the saddle as early as this fall. Blitz will be able to go to his forever home on June 8th, pre adoption papers can be filed now. This beautiful half Arabian/Gaited mare came to us from a court seizure. The owner was starving his horses. She is a sweet heart, but a little on the shy side since she wasn't handled much. Lady is a fast learner and I had no problems teaching her to lead or load in the trailer. She is still a bit scared of the farrier but starting to learn. Lady is about 5 years old and would make a great riding horse. She does need training and lots of love. She is ready for adoption June 8th, but pre adoption papers can be filed now. Tramp was a court seizure. He went from shy little baby to a wonderful two year old. He is started on the Lunge line and is a very quick learner. Tramp has undergone training for the last couple of weeks and shouldn't be much work to start him under the saddle in the spring when he is old enough. Little John was abandoned at the local sale barn. He was lame on all four. We have since treated him for multiple abscesses and he made a full recovery. The Vet gave him the all clear and he can be ritten. We believe he is broke to ride and loads like a charm. John is 6 year's old and gaited, possible spotted saddle horse. He has been gelded and we worked on his ground manners. He is a very sweet horse. John is 15 hands tall and still needs lots of love and some training.
